Long time since last post - finished kid's classes in mid August, my daughter came up for a week, prepared for fall classes....
but it's official seven classes have been canceled already this fall.... I bought this cute child's rocking chair for the 2011 Chair Affair fundraiser that helps the NW Furniture Bank. Silent auction in held at TAM in Tacoma in the early spring...There's a few more days to view the Fine Arts Exhibit at the Puyallup Fair...

Merrill Gardens activity director is going to have me help residents design a holiday card for the annual contest sponsored by Merrill Gardens for their residents… then in January I will stop by every second Wednesday afternoon to provide an art experience for Olympia Merrill Gardens residents.
Although I’ve been slow on adding new work on the website, I will capture my annual fall burst of energy and direct it into new pieces… When my daughter was viiting from Oakland, I drew and started to color in a series of 22 images of a water sprite – keeping in mind children’s book illustration. Backgrounds are done - filling in with watercolor pencil...
