Long time since the last post

Well folks, Spring keeps trying to make an appearance.

I did hear spring frogs last night! Crocus have recovered from the snow two weeks ago...

Sometimes there are just too many internet sites, blogs, twqeets etc to maintain. I'm having problems due to using two different emails and PW for a poetry blog and this art/studio blog.... just totally messes up everything so I stopped posting studio news.
I'll get rid of the bad news first:
my winter classes are crashing in mega cancellations -
5 have run waiting to hear on 4 and 12 classes out of 21 have been cancelled as far as Oly Parks, Auburn and Centralia extended ed, Sr services [Oly and Steillacom]

Now of all things, one of my ORLA classes will not run from now to June! that is the biggest blow as it is really good pay rate!

Also Hampton's Unit might cancel the once a week art activity...

it seems my jobs are self destructing. I am in shock but will just keep pushing what else can one do?

Back to the happy place:

Which includes all the block prints I've made recently,

posting a lot of art work on my zazzle shop http://www.zazzle.com/nine_lives_studio
and started a www.fineartamerica.com gallery as well... http://fineartamerica.com/art/all/ellen+miffitt/all
cyber marketing - hard to keep up with it all.
Sumi-e blank note cards are still selling well at Bainbridge Arts & Crafts and of course, at Traditions in Olympia, Love Series collage cards at State of the Arts, ...

When I taught the mandala class a few Saturdays ago that got me making more… I'm working on a 4th one – almost finished! Here are two of them....
