This FREE one-day art extravaganza celebrates the visual arts and invites attendees to both observe techniques and create their own artwork. Artist in action booths list to be posted soon...
Also planned are two unique projects, Travelling Art Encampment and Plein Air in the Park that are seeking artist involvement.
Travelling Art Encampment
The Travelling Art Encampment is an interactive temporary art installation, inviting artists and the festival attendees to create tents and shelters throughout Les Gove park. Using non-traditional materials, the installation will imagine and inspire a new type of shelter. Artists will create the tents prior to the festival that will serve as the inspiration for creation throughout the day. To participate and to create a tent prior to the event for installation, contact Andrew Peterson, apeter@spu.edu.
Plein Air in the Park
Coordinated by Artist Francis Buckmaster, Plein Air in the Park invites artists for all or part of the day to come with an easel and medium and capture the environment around them. To participate in Plein Air in the Park as part of ArtRageous, contact Francis Buckmaster, fbuckmaster@ix.netcom.com
