Recycled Collage Workshop for LNPB.org

Here is the announcement for my Portland, OR workshop:
9/27/08 (sat) Recycled Collage Workshop taught by fellow E4 artist Ellen Miffitt, who has offered to come to Portland and share some of her recycled collage tricks (see attached works).
Description: You're taking the plastic-free challenge, yet you're still a plastic magnet and may even be a scavenger. Choose a form to collage (a plastic container of your choice) or start with a flat surface and incorporate interesting collage techniques transforming it into a work of art. Bring your collection to work from and share. Some supplies are provided by the instructor. Instructor, Ellen Miffitt, M.S., in Art Education, is an award winning artist, whose work appears in several galleries and private collections. E4 artists have first dibs, until Monday, September 1, when released to other mailing lists. Two 2-hour sessions are available for your convenience (the good kind of convenience): 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 to 3 p.m.
RSVP to this email by September 19th. Space is limited to 6/session. $18 for LNPB artists/friends $23 for general public. Location: Gumbo Green Room.
